It’s election season! The most exciting time! (well for us).
Whilst statistically it’s highly likely that you aren’t planning to vote, or, in fact, aren’t aware that an election is happening at all, we at Reayrtys are keen to make sure that you have all the facts you need ahead of polling day on Thursday 24 September 2026.
The Isle of Man General Election isn’t some pint-sized poll for a parish council; it’s about deciding who will represent you for the next five years in the House of Keys and what direction the Isle of Man will take.
So buckle up, this series of blogs will explain what the hell is actually happening on 24 September and how you can get involved on voting day.

If you’re planning to vote in the Isle of Man General Election - make sure you’re registered. You can register or find out if you are registered here.
The deadline for registering to vote is 25 August 2026. If you’re not registered by then you won’t be able to vote on election day.
